When you think how much fashion passes down the runway by the end of fashion week, it is staggering, and also sometimes a bit of a blur. Hence it is always nice to look back at your photos and re-live the event and study the clothes further. Wednesday night was the 2nd designer series runway with a great collection of designers on show. Lots of digital prints, animal prints, metallics, white was a dominant colour with splashes of blue, orange and green thrown in the mix.

MSFW Designer Series Runway 2 continues with colour, neon, print & metallics
Some of the highlights for me from Runway 2, was a great collection from Jason Brunsdon who delivered feminine and classic pieces that showed off the body in all the right ways with amazing colour, print and lace. YB J'Aime had the most vibrant red suit that demands attention along with print co-ordinates and pops of colours while Manning Cartel offered clean grid lines, beautiful floral pieces and neon pink textures. Thurley shimmered in metallics, neon lace, fringing and beaded gowns. It was a great show and beautifully styled by Kate Gaskin.

Highlights of MSFW- Boutique Designer Series Show 2
I was so excited about this show and SUPER excited that I got to go and be part of the atmosphere.
The Melbourne town hall certainly had a buzz about it, the crowd, equally fashionable, knew they were going to be in store for some colour and wearable fashion by designers that provide playful clothes with great attitude and stories to them.
The best accessory for MSFW
The face of MSFW gets the crowd in the mood before the show starts
To my delight, the fashion did not disappoint and had a very retro flavor about it, offset by some great accessories including spotted hair scarfs and sunglasses.
I felt like I was transported to a technicolour movie of the 50's with my favorite Hollywood starlets parading just for me! How divine! They were some very beautiful starlets too I might add!
A flowing Nevenka number. So excited to meet designer Rosemary Masic after the show!
Runway strut- and that amazing hair!
And for a little glamour and sparkle
Colour and print was the order for the night
